Since returning to my home, going to my hometown, what I keep connecting to is water: taking that shower, standing in the rain, and what intrigues me is the understanding of community, the people in your life; not every day brings a cycle of happiness, and we flow when you’re happy, aligned, or understanding each other. During my spiritual awakening, I found peace in praying with water, connecting to those memories of praying, crying out for what I need, forgiving myself for the past, or speaking a manifestation into light, so that the more you speak it, the more it comes true...

Think of the many ways we see water: hues of blues and whites on painted canvas, cream linen to the lightest blue; it dries off your hand in the sun and cleans your skin at night. Nourishes your body, regenerates it when feeling thirsty, used to baptise sins that are yet to be foreseen. Introspection will lead to how you feel like water, listening to songs that unlock your rhythm?, being kissed by someone who accepts you?, swimming like a fish in the pool? Entering a flow state after procrastination, the intimacy of knowing you can trust someone? It is because of our constant communication with nature that we feel closer to our human nature.

I like to attach “alignment” to the meaning of water; not only does the stream of water flush the memories of a lost shoe from river to river, it holds its secrets together, the state of that water is to communicate the winds, just to bury more memories at the bottom of the ocean. What I like is connection, actual interlink, experiencing it; watching makes me feel like water. When a group of people chooses to celebrate each other at a bar, or partners build a life together, a kid resonates with a cartoon, or when I craft a creation and love it.
