unveiling the roots
Okay, it’s said in the beginning, there was light then boom, the universe is created, then boom, dinos somehow, Adam and Eve. You probably know most the story based on you alchemy or upbringing, different rooted versions of the truth. religiously, if you unveil revelations and start with the beginning of Genesis, you come to see a circle, a cycle of start to finish. if we’re speaking deeply, we’re not the end, just in a cycle of constant evolution.

this is the play where you play Tender Hands by Chris de Burgh [thank you agi]
the bottom of the food chain is the roots for the top; without a bottom, according to research the top will not survive because who will there be to eat, increase taxes for and sell dreams to? Each other? Big sharks don’t see each other as a meal, they prefer to fight each other to be the Atlantic and Pacific’s biggest shark. The cannibalism comes in when it’s time to sacrifice a son for dinner. The lack of empathy may just come from greed and pride but the idea behind it is as simple as taking a few bites, instilling some trauma or raising a nonchalant lover. Maybe without greed, there would be more vegetation; aliens would be shopping amongst us in their natural form, and the fashion race would mainly be a happy showcase of creations over product prostitution.
in the world of fashion, African history has linked lineage to clothing, since they started wearing animal skins, using beads in hair as style yet symbolising the wearer’s life achievements and identity. The roots lay in the storytelling of one hero to another, the motivation to fight for freedom, and the dance shared amongst your community. The functioning elements of roots are to be a reminder of the beginning when you tell the story of the end. Your birth was the beginning root to your future growth; when you’re in your hometown, feeling the nostalgia of your koko’s cooking or rakgolo’s beer belly greeting you with a cold one on the couch, it’s roots; you smell memory more often than you think.
